Romsey WI is an active participant in the Romsey Future Project which is developing a vision for Romsey over the next 10 years.

Along with our participation in the co-ordinating group we have also supported with providing refreshments for stakeholder events. Here is a  photo from the event, held on November 25th 2017.
This venture has now moved past the initial stages but is part of the structure and process for consulting with residents over ongoing development of the town. We are please and proud to be involved. It linked with a WI resolution about Saving our High Streets

Romsey WI seeks to share in and be part of the towns activities.

A regular part of engaging with Romsey Community is yarn bombing events where the towns bollards are decorated. Each organisation involved in the town participates.
This years theme is Woodland
Yet again our ladies came up trumps with knitting needles and crochet hooks!

As part of the Romsey Community we also supported the Dukes Mill Pop Up Zoo.
This enabled groups and individuals in the town to make animals out of recyled plastic pots.
It was a truly joyful and colourful display.
Here is our snake in the grass!
